Use this cooking conversion tool to help you convert between units commonly referenced in cooking recipes (cups, ounces, grams, kilograms, teaspoons, tablespoons and more).
Cooking ingredients
You may find yourself following a recipe and discovering you don't have the required measuring implement to hand. Or, you may prefer measuring in metric or imperial measurements, rather than the alternative. If either of these are the case, we've got your back with our cooking and baking unit conversion tool.
Our tool allows you to convert from standard cooking units of volume such as the tablespoon, teaspoon and cup to units of weight such as grams and pounds. You'll notice that if you are converting between units of volume and weight, you will require an ingredient density figure. The reason for this is that it's not a straight conversion — a unit of weight is different to a unit of volume. As an example, a cup of milk will weigh far more than a cup of flour.
